Frank is currently out on the road every week trimming hundreds of horses in South Florida.   What follows is just a small sample of some of the horses that have stronger, healthier hooves as a result of changes in their diet, movement and natural trim.  On this page you will see some of the horses Frank has trimmed over the past several years.

Froggy

Froggy is a 16-year old Thoroughbred owned and ridden by Caroline, who competes him in 3-day events.  Froggy's hooves display the tough, rock hard sole and hoof wall of a horse that gets ridden a lot!

Cappy

Rohara Capistrano, or "Cappy" is my wife's horse and has been one of my biggest challenges.  Cappy is now 16 years old, and is a Polish Arabian.  He has taught me as much or more than any other horse I've ever had in my care.

 

 

Cappy had a very successful show season this spring.

Competing at Intro and Training levels in dressage, he won almost every class he entered, and finished the season with four scores in the 70's.  Cappy is an incredibly beautiful mover and his hooves show the heel-first landing that helps him float over the arena floor.

 

 

 Here is a picture of Cappy's hoof taken several years ago.   Since adding concrete screed to his stall and paddock behind the barn, and since Lauren has been riding him 4-5 times a week, his hooves have gotten only stronger.
